Dr. Arielle Walton is a unique and compassionate veterinarian based in Nashville, TN, originally from Atlanta, GA. Her journey into veterinary medicine began with a childhood surrounded by animals. Inspired by her mother, who once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Arielle’s love for animals grew into a deep passion for veterinary science and a commitment to providing animals with the best care possible.

Dr. Arielle graduated from the renowned Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in Alabama, an institution rich in history, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012. During her senior year, she discovered traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM) and felt inspired by its ability to complement Western medicine. She began studying acupuncture and later became a certified veterinary acupuncturist under the esteemed Dr. Xie at the Chi Institute. This training opened her eyes to the powerful potential of integrative medicine—a blend of Eastern and Western approaches that promotes both balance and healing.

Since founding House Paws Acupuncture of Nashville in 2019, a mobile acupuncture practice, Dr. Arielle has dedicated herself to combining the best of both conventional and Chinese veterinary medicine for optimal patient care. She continues to expand her skills in herbal therapy, whole-food diets, Tui-Na, and physical rehabilitation, giving her clients a comprehensive and compassionate approach to animal wellness.

Outside of work, Dr. Arielle’s life is filled with adventure. She lives with her husband and their three beloved dogs—Lenoxx, Levii, and Tyson—and together they share a love of travel, exploring new restaurants, and attending Tennessee Titans games every Sunday. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Arielle has recently taken up beekeeping and eco-herbalism. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
